RWC News Insider Google Memo Leaks, Exposing ‘Diversity Program’ Scam To Public

An anonymous survey recently revealed that somewhere between 30 to 40 percent of employees at the tech giant are extremely tired of the company’s restrictive ideological environment.

An anonymous Google employee decided to write a critical memo about the tech company’s diversity initiatives and “ideological echo chamber.” The document was circulated throughout the tech giant’s ranks.

Apparently, the document is a 10-page critique not only of the diversity programs at the tech company but the very need for those programs. The memo was first reported by Motherboard and obtained by Gizmodo.

Several reports revealed that it was a male software specialist at Google who sent out the memo internally to other employees who have viewed the document en-masse. This document is entitled “Google’s Ideological Echo Chamber.”

The author said that the tech giant´s political bias has equated the freedom from offense with psychological safety, but assured that shaming into silence is the direct opposite of psychological safety.

The author categorically denies that women represent a smaller percentage of high-tech workers only because of any kind of innate sexism in the industry. Instead, he said that the reasons behind this reality are nothing more than basic psychological variances.

On the memo, the man wrote that workers at the tech giant must stop assuming that gender gap implies any kind of sexism. Additionally, he added that discrimination to reach equal representation is not only unfair but also divisive and even bad for business.

So far, the document has garnered both popularity and notoriety as the tech company is embroiled in a U.S. labor department investigation that has charged the company with pay inequity for women performing similar duties to men.

Also, the author told that political orientation is basically a result of deep moral preferences and biases. Additionally, he explained that considering that the overwhelming majority of the social media, sciences, and the company lean left, workers should critically examine these prejudices.

Furthermore, he said that this type of silencing has created an ideological echo chamber where several ideas are too sacred to be honestly discussed within Google.

The man acknowledged that while most of the people have really good intentions, it is a fact that everyone has biases which are invisible to many. In addition, he contends that the tech giant has several biases but a simple debate about these biases is completely disallowed because the discussion is all about gender and race.

According to leaked documents from the company’s internal employee messaging platform, many Googlers were not happy at all with the document and responded with anger towards the author and the company itself for not reacting to the memo in a stronger manner. As a matter of fact, some even implied that the document’s author is a nazi, and claimed that everyone should punch this kind of people.

These allegations of political intolerance come shortly after Google-owned platform YouTube announced it would manipulate search results, artificially promote socially progressive videos and even censor non-rulebreaking content that is considered as “potential hate speech.” The company is also partnering with ADL and many other left-wing organizations in order to identify “hate speech” on its platform.

Later in the memo, the author discusses the possible reasoning behind the gender bias in the tech field. He pointed out that at the company, workers have been regularly told that implicit and explicit biases are holding women back in tech and leadership. However, he assured this is far from the whole story.

The author explained that on average, men and women biologically differ in many forms, and told that these differences aren’t socially constructed because they’re universal across every single human culture, and they often have clear biological causes and links to prenatal testosterone.

Additionally, the author said that other reasons are that biological males that were castrated at birth and raised as females still identify and act like males in most cases, and that they are exactly what many would predict from an evolutionary psychology perspective.

An anonymous survey recently revealed that somewhere between 30 to 40 percent of employees at the tech giant are extremely tired of the company´s restrictive ideological environment, while a second question shows that more than half of the survey respondents disagreed. In fact, many said that the document was quite harmful and shouldn’t have been shared.

Regarding the memo’s content, Google´s Vice President of engineering Ari Balogh pushed back against the ideas published in the document. Balogh said that while questioning the company’s assumptions and sharing different points of view is an important part of their culture, they can’t allow harmful and stereotyping assumptions to play any part.
