A mere 10 days before the assassination of John F Kennedy shocked a nation, he had requested confidential documentation from the CIA regarding UFO’s. Is this timeline a coincidence or was there more going on behind then scenes?
Authorrecently acquired documentation from the CIA, released to him under the Freedom of Information Act, requesting the release of top-secret UFO files. The memos, penned on November 12, 1963 were sent to the CIA director and the NASA administrator, requesting their full cooperation on the matter.
In an interview with AOL news, Lester stated “One of his concerns was that a lot of these UFOs were being seen over the Soviet Union and he was very concerned that the Soviets might misinterpret these UFOs as U.S. aggression, believing that it was some of our technology.”
He went on to say “I think this is one of the reasons why he wanted to get his hands on this information and get it away from the jurisdiction of NASA so he could say to the Soviets, “Look that’s not us, we’re not doing it, we’re not being provocative.”’
Conspiracy theorists, however, have a different theory. They believe this adds fuel to a fire started by a UFO investigator who claimed he acquired a document nicknamed the ‘burned memo’ in the 1990’s. This document is claimed to have been sent to UFO hunter Timothy Cooper in 1999 by an unnamed CIA leak, however it has never been verified.
A note included with the document, alleged to be from the CIA leak, states he worked for the CIA from 1960 to 1974, and had pulled the enclosed memo from a fire when the agency was burning some of its most sensitive files. The memo, which has scorch marks, refers to ‘Lancer’, which was the Secret Service code name for JFK.
The first page of the memo, which is alleged to be written by the director of the CIA, states ‘As you know, Lancer has made some inquiries regarding our activities, which we cannot allow. Please submit your views no later than October. Your action to this matter is critical to the continuance of the group.’
Although this document has never officially been verified, UFO investigator Robert Wood advised that he had the paper it was printed on, the ink age, watermarks and font types all tested. Wood stated, “I hired a forensics company to check the age of the ink and check several other things that you can date, using the same techniques you’d use in a court of law.”
We may never know the truth without proper verification of the documentation in question, but the timeline certainly does lead one to question the truth behind JFK’s assassination!
Please keep in mind that this is a theory, no one is claiming anything written in this article as true or false.
