One of the most poorly kept secrets in both Washington, D.C. and Silicon Valley circles is that hyper-wealthy Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg has huge political ambitions and is beginning to lay down the groundwork for a 2020 presidential election run.
Zuckerberg, who is a Democrat, was likely inspired by the success of outsider Donald Trump, who is a fellow billionaire businessman without a background in Washington, D.C. politics. However, it was made very clear that not everybody is excited at the prospect of the mega-rich millennial being our next president.
A conservative street artist who goes by the name Sabo has been placing posters all over California that say, simply and directly, “F*ck Zuck 2020”. The posters also have a picture of the classic Facebook “thumbs up” image but altered to be a middle finger.
Sabo was apparently motivated to create the posters and start putting them up after hearing that Zuckerberg had just brought on one of Hillary Clinton’s leading strategists to work on his own presidential election campaign.
Commented Sabo, “This story will no doubt cost me my account but if anything that will solidify why I’d hate the thought of Zuckerberg being President.” He predicted that, if elected, Mark would bring his “trusted band of social justice warrior employees into the White House to begin oppressing everyone who doesn’t think the way they do.” Added Sabo, “The thought of the King of Startups might one day run this country is more than I want to nightmare over.” Do you support Sabo’s anti-Zuckerberg campaign?
