As they say, it's now the business end of the season in the English Football League with promotion and relegation places still yet to be decided across the Championship, League One and League Two on the final day of the season.
As well as that, the playoffs are still yet to be finalised with a number of sides across all three leagues battling it out for a spot.
League Two perhaps holds the most fascinating battle with six teams still fighting in out, while in the Championship there are five teams looking to finish in the final two playoff positions.
For everything you need to know ahead of the final day of the EFL season and all the permutations across the leagues, The Sporting News has you covered.

EFL Championship final day: 2023 playoff permutations
While Burnley and Sheffield United have already been promoted back to the Premier League this season from the Championship, there are still a number of sides eyeing a play-off spot.
So far we know that Luton Town and Middlesbrough will definitely finish third and fourth respectively, but five sides are still looking to secure the other two openings.
5th - Coventry City: 69 points, +12 GD
Starting the final day in fifth position, Coventry will more than likely finish in the playoffs this season. They travel to Middlesbrough - who are already guaranteed to finish fourth - on the final day knowing that either a win or draw will be good enough for a top-six finish. Due to their goal difference, even a loss could see them finish in the top six.
6th - Millwall: 68 points, +8 GD
For Millwall it's as simple as win and they're in. If they fail to beat Blackburn on the final day then they'd need Sunderland and West Brom to draw or lose to guarantee while they could still get in if they lose but would need more results to go their way.
7th - Sunderland: 66 points, +10 GD
Sunderland have to win to stand any chance of making the Championship playoffs this season. Even then, a victory might not be enough as they need Coventry to lose or Millwall to draw or lose to have a chance.
8th - West Brom: 66 points, +7 GD
Due to their inferior goal difference, it's unlikely that West Brom will finish in the top six this season but there is a pathway. The Baggies need to win by more than one goal and then hope that Coventry lose or Millwall lose or draw and Sunderland lose or draw to make it in.
9th - Blackburn: 66 points, -3 GD
Blackburn face a huge match on the final day and have to win away to Millwall to keep up their slim chances of a playoff finish. If they manage that, they then also need both Sunderland and West Brom to fail to win to finish sixth.

EFL League One final day: 2023 playoff permutations
Unlike the Championship, there are only two sides that are battling for a playoff position on the final day in the third tier.
Due to results last weekend, we already know that Plymouth and Ipswich have been automatically promoted, while Sheffield Wednesday and Barnsley will definitely finish third and fourth. Bolton are also confirmed to finish in the play offs though it's still yet to be seen whether they'll finish fifth or sixth.
6th - Derby County: 76 points, +22 GD
The Rams travel to Hillsborough on the final day knowing that a win against Sheffield Wednesday will secure a play off spot regardless of other results. A draw may also be enough given their lofty goal difference but if they lose, they need Peterborough to fail to win elsewhere.
7th - Peterborough United: 74 points, +19 GD
Only a win will do for Peterborough, who travel to Barnsley on the final day. Even a victory might not be enough, though, as they need Derby to lose or draw coupled with their own win of three or more goals.
League One table heading into the final day
Pos. | Team | Played | W | D | L | GD | Points |
6 | Derby | 45 | 21 | 13 | 11 | +22 | 76 |
7 | Peterborough | 45 | 23 | 5 | 17 | +19 | 74 |

EFL League Two final day: 2023 playoff permutations
If you want plenty of drama on the final day, look no further than League Two as there's still an automatic promotion spot up for grabs while not a single team knows where they'll finish in the playoff picture this season.
It's important to remember that in League Two - unlike the other two divisions - the top three sides go up automatically, while fourth to seventh make up the playoffs.
3rd - Northampton Town: 80 points, +19 GD
To seal automatic promotion, Northampton have to win on the final day. If not, a draw or a loss may still be good enough but they'd need Stockport to fail to win elsewhere. A playoff spot is guaranteed at minimum.
4th - Stockport County: 78 points, +28 GD
Stockport have to win on the final day and hope for a Northampton stumble for promotion. Anything less and it'll be a playoff spot this season for the Hatters.
5th - Carlisle United: 75 points, +23 GD
Due to their superior goal difference, any positive result for Carlisle is enough for a playoff spot this campaign and even a loss on the final weekend would need to be coupled with some unusual scorelines for them to drop out of the top seven.
6th - Salford City: 75 points, +19 GD
Similar to Carlisle, a win or draw is enough to seal Salford's playoff place though a loss could invite trouble with Mansfield lurking. For them to fall out of the top seven, they'd need to lose and Mansfield would need to win and overturn a five-goal deficit.
7th - Bradford City: 75 points, +18 GD
Mark Hughes' Bradford city and in exactly the same position as Salford above and know that a point is good enough to finish in the playoffs this season. If they lose to champions Leyton Orient on the final day, Mansfield would need to win and overturn a four goal deficit in the process.
8th - Mansfield Town: 72 points, +15 GD
It's as simple as only a victory against Colchester on the final day could see Mansfield finish in the top seven this season. They need Bradford, Salford or Carlisle to lose and then also need to overturn a goal deficit to make it in.
