Manchester City striker Erling Haaland continues to break record after record in an unbelievable 2022/23 campaign.
The Norway international has scored 51 goals so far this season, including 35 in the Premier League and 12 in the Champions League. He has scored six hat-tricks in his debut season and bagged five against RB Leipzig in the Champions League round of 16.
Haaland has played a key role in Man City pushing for a historic treble this season. His goals have propelled the Citizens into the Champions League semi-final and FA Cup final, while the title race is currently also in their hands.
The forward has a unique build and uses it to his advantage against defenders.
How tall is Erling Haaland?
Haaland exploits his height and strength to barge defenders out of the way and get a clearer sight of goal. His physical dominance and his lightning pace makes his a unique and difficult challenge for the opposition.
He is listed as 1.94m (6ft 4in) in height, making him a similar size, if not taller, than the average central defender in football.
This makes his acrobatic efforts against Borussia Dortmund and Southampton even more impressive as his height does not restrict his flexibility like it does for many people.
Is Haaland the tallest player in the Premier League?
Despite Haaland's daunting stature, he does not come close to the top of the list of tallest players currently in the Premier League. The Man City star ranks 36th in terms of height while Chelsea goalkeeper Lucas Bergstrom leads the way 6ft 7in.
Dan Burn is the tallest outfield player along with Paul Onuachu. Both Newcasle and Leicester have two players in the top 10 for tallest players.

How many headers has Haaland scored in 2022/23?
Due to Man City and Pep Guardiola's style of play, Haaland and his teammates do not get a lot of opportunities to score headers. They try to avoid putting in aerial crosses as that is what teams who sit back want them to do.
Only seven of Haaland's 51 goals across all competitions this season for Man City have been headers. He scored with his head against Manchester United and Tottenham earlier in this season, and most recently against Southampton.
From his 35 league goals, six of them were headers, 23 came with his left and six with his weaker right foot. Seven of those left-footed goals have come from the penalty spot.
Haaland aerial duels, headers won
Although he usually uses his physical abilities to run in behind and shrug off defenders, in Man City's recent win over Arsenal he also showed he can hold the ball up and win battles against stronger defenders.
So far this season Haaland has won 63 of his 119 attempted aerial duels, a success rate of 52.9%. This is quite high compared to strikers scoring at a good rate in their respective leagues.
The striker gives Pep Guardiola an option that he has not had over the past few seasons. Haaland allows City to be more direct and pounce quicker on the counter-attack when they need to.
