Leicester City find themselves facing a major Premier League relegation battle in the final weeks of the 2022/23 campaign.
The Foxes have slipped from playing in a UEFA Europa Conference League semifinal less than 12 months ago, to fighting for Premier League survival in 2023.
Despite maintaining themselves as a Premier League force, following their shock 2015/16 title win, Leicester have plummeted this season, and they could face a first top-flight relegation since 2004. They have been in the top flight since the 2014/15 season.
The club opted to sack long serving manager Brendan Rodgers in April, with former Aston Villa head coach Dean Smith brought in on a short-term deal, to try and save their top-flight status.

Leicester City's remaining Premier League fixtures in 2022/23
Leicester City have four Premier League games left to secure survival, including clashes against Liverpool and Newcastle.
May 8 vs Fulham (Away)
A trip to Craven Cottage will be a test for Smith's side with Marco Silva's hosts only dropping out of the race for possible European qualification late this season.
Fulham's results have dropped off in recent weeks, with three straight losses – so Smith could see this tie as a chance to pick up points.
May 15 vs Liverpool (Home)
Liverpool are still in the hunt for a possible top four spot, as Jurgen Klopp's side look to rally in the final month of the campaign, and they have some crucial players returning from injury.
However, Leicester have a strong home record against the Reds, with successive Premier League wins against them at the King Power in the last two seasons.
May 22 vs Newcastle (Away)
The relegation picture is likely to have shifted ahead of Leicester's penultimate game of the season, away at Newcastle.
If Smith's side have managed to pick up points in the previous three matches, and kept themselves in with a chance of survival, defeat at the impressive Magpies would not be a disaster.
Eddie Howe's team have won their last four Premier League matches at St. James' Park and Champions League football is on the verge of returning to Tyneside.
May 28 vs West Ham (Home)
The final game of the season is set to be a tense weekend for all the teams involved in the relegation battle, with Everton hosting Bournemouth, and Leeds at home to Tottenham.
David Moyes' Hammers look to have done enough to edge away from relegation danger, and they could also be through to the UEFA Europa Conference League final, and Smith will be ready to capitalise on that.
Leicester City Premier League record
Since the Premier League's inception in 1992/93, Leicester have completed 16 seasons in the top-flight, prior to the start of the 2022/23 campaign, including three relegations.
The Foxes have enjoyed their longest uninterrupted Premier League stay since 2014/15, including the incredible 2016 title win, alongside two Europa League qualifications.
