Mohamed Salah's fine goalscoring form has helped Liverpool make a late push for Champions League qualification.
The Egypt icon's prolific form means Jurgen Klopp's side retain hope of finishing in the top four despite an underwhelming campaign by their recent standards.
Although Erling Haaland has broken Salah's record for most goals in a 38-game league campaign, the 30-year-old is still writing his name in the Liverpool history books.
The Sporting News looks at Salah's record in front of goal and how he compares to former Liverpool players.

Salah recently overtook club legend Robbie Fowler in the leaderboards for most Liverpool goals, and is close to passing revered former captain Steven Gerrard.
The 2017/18 golden boot winner is the only active player in the top ten list, with several of the hotshots included retiring over the last two decades. His goals-per-game ratio is also highly impressive.

Who is Liverpool's record goal scorer?
If Salah continued to score at his current rate for Liverpool, it would take him 267 games to overtake Ian Rush at the top of the list.
Rush scored 346 goals for the Reds between 1980 and 1996. In that time, he spent one season in Italy with Juventus before returning to Merseyside because his style appeared to better suit English football.
The Wales international wore the number seven shirt and partnered Kenny Dalglish in the Liverpool attack. Rush won five league titles and two European Cups for the club, finishing as top goalscorer for the club on eight separate occasions.
