Tuchel pulls plug on £25m Liverpool transfer as ‘phenomenal’ Bayern star looks to ‘make statement’.
Thomas Tuchel will reportedly prevent Liverpool from signing Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch during this summer's transfer window.

The 22-year-old has been strongly linked with a move away from the Allianz Arena this summer, with Liverpool and Spurs said to be leading the chase for his services. However, Tuchel is unlikely to sanction a move for Gravenberch, as he feels that he is not good enough for Liverpool’s first-team.

Keita has been a revelation since joining Liverpool from RB Leipzig in the summer of 2018, scoring 12 goals in 97 appearances in all competitions. Oxlade-Chamberlain has been a peripheral figure at Liverpool since returning from a season-long loan at Arsenal, while Milner has started just 15 Premier League matches this season.

Gravenberch is a left-back who has played for clubs like Feyenoord, Everton and Torino. Liverpool have been linked with Gravenberch as they look for reinforcements at left-back.

But new head coach Niko Kovac seems to have given the Dutchman a much more regular role and the 23-year-old has responded with five goals in 12 appearances. Now Aleksandar Kolarov has tipped the youngster to become one of the best players in the world. “He is one of the most talented players I’ve seen in a long time,” said the Serbia international. “He is very fast, has

3. Leroy Sane Sane has been at Schalke for just over a year and has been a regular in the Bundesliga since the start of the 2016/17 season. The 21-year-old has scored nine goals and provided 12 assists in 36 appearances in the Bundesliga.

However, the 22-year-old has stated that he is not yet ready to leave Ajax and is instead focused on helping the Dutch side to achieve success in the Europa League and Dutch Cup. “Liverpool? I can not say anything about that yet,” Gravenberch told Dutch publication De Telegraaf. “I am not ready to leave Ajax. I am focused on winning titles with Ajax. “There are rumours that

Aston Villa boss Steve Bruce is considering a move for the 28-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Fulham. “I’ve been told by the club that I am definitely in the plans,” he said. “I’ve been told that I am a key player. “I’ve been told that I will play a lot of football. “I’ve

It's looking like Tuchel will give everybody a fair chance including Axel Witsel and Naby Keita. Gravenberch however just can't happen right now.

Jacobs said Gravenberch was “not as mobile as Nagelsmann was used to.” He added: “So I think Ryan Gravenberch was maybe not as content in the role as he could have been and that affected his performances on the pitch.”

Liverpool would be the biggest transfer gamble of all if they were to sign Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure. The Liverpool Echo report that Toure, 32, has told friends he wants to leave Manchester City and join a European club. The Ivorian has a year left on his contract at the Etihad Stadium, but is reported to be open to a move to Anfield. The Reds are said to be willing to pay up to £25million for the midfielder

“He’s very young, passionate and has a good reputation. He’s the right man for the job.”

“He’s got a lot of ability and potential.”

“Thomas Tuchel isn’t someone who will countenance players who are not 100% committed and he is confident that Draxler can be that player.”

“There is no update on the negotiations, either with Liverpool or the player, and there is no indication that they are even close to a resolution. “I’m sorry to say that, but at this moment it just does not look good for links with Liverpool coming back anytime soon.”

I think it’s more likely that the player is unhappy but is still driving to the exit.”

It is possible that the two managers will clash and this could lead to Tuchel leaving the club.

"Bellingham United youngster Christian Falk is attracting interest from Liverpool, despite the club being reluctant to sign the 18-year-old defender, according to his family." Liverpool have recently been linked with a move for Bellingham, with the 18-year-old defender being a player at the forefront of the club’s interest. Despite Liverpool being reluctant to sign the defender, Falk’s family have indicated that they will try to get an agreement with the Premier League
