Wrexham will play Manchester United in a friendly match in San Diego on July 22.

The New York Islanders acquired defenseman Travis Hamonic and a first-round pick in the 2016 NHL Draft from the Calgary Flames in exchange for defenseman John Moore and a second-round pick in the 2016 NHL Draft. Wrexham have announced they will play Manchester United in a friendly in San Diego on July 27. The match will be played in order to raise money for the McGrath Foundation which focuses on supporting children with cancer. The game will mark the first time the two clubs have faced each other.
