The Miami Heat might be competing in the NBA Finals, but the biggest news on South Beach today is the reported signing of soccer superstar Lionel Messi.

The World Cup winner's reported deal to join David Beckham's Inter Miami, is a huge win for Major League Soccer, fending off huge interest from Saudia Arabian club Al-Hilal, who reportedly offered him a yearly salary of £434 million ($548m).

While the deal has not yet officially been completed, Messi himself confirmed the news that he is coming to Miami and it didn't take long for Miami fans to get their No. 10 jerseys printed, already spotted at Game 3 of the NBA Finals.

Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant, who is a minority owner of the Philadelphia Union, extended a welcome to Messi with a competitive undertone ahead of his team's first meeting with Miami, which comes on June 24.

Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo, who along with his brothers Thansasis, Kostas, and Alex is ready to see Messi take on his Nashville SC team. They'll go head-to-head in late August.

Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young was hyped to see his fellow Adidas athlete coming to MLS.

Miami Heat guard Kyle Lowry was also ahead of the game, repping Messi's jersey on the bench back in December just a few days after Argentina lifted the World Cup.

While we're used to seeing plenty of soccer stars like Neymar and Paul Pogba sitting courtside at NBA games, get ready for a ton of NBA players pulling up to Miami to catch Messi in action.
