LeBron James and the Lakers' task of closing out the series is coming with its fair share of obstacles.

Late in the third quarter of Game 5 between the Lakers and Warriors, James appeared to tweak his left ankle coming down from a layup. James did not exit the game, but he was visibly impacted.

With LA just one win away from advancing to the Western Conference Finals, what does this mean for James moving forward? Here's what we know.

What is LeBron James' injury?

James stayed in the game and was not given an injury diagnosis, but he was visibly impacted after rolling his ankle while landing on the foot of Warriors center Kevon Looney.

It is worth noting that the injury that caused James to miss 13 games late in the season was in his right foot. James' injury in Game 5 appears to be an issue with his left ankle.

Through the first four games of the series, James is averaging 23.3 points, 8.8 rebounds and 5.3 assists while playing 35.9 minutes per game.

How long will LeBron James be out?

James remained in the game following the tweak, making it highly unlikely that he will miss time due to the injury. Over the course of his career, has never missed a playoff game due to injury.

While he is unlikely to miss time, James could be impacted by the tweak throughout the series or as the playoffs continue, should the Lakers advance.
