The NFL is going global yet again.International games returned in 2021 after a one-year pandemic hiatus, and the league hosted five more games outside the U.S. in 2022 including the first NFL game ever played in Germany. Five more international games are on the schedule in 2023, but they won't all be in the same locations as 2022. The release of the regular season schedule on Thursday unveiled when the games will be played and which teams will heading overseas in 2023. European fans will get to see Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen for the first time as some of the NFL's biggest names take the international stage. IYER: Updated NFL power rankings after 2023 draftHere's a complete look at the NFL's international game locations in 2023.NFL international game locations 2023The NFL is set to play five international games across three stadiums and two countries in 2023. There is no Mexico game on the schedule for the NFL this season as Estadio Azteca undergoes renovations in preparation for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The 49ers and Cardinals faced off in Mexico last season, the NFL's first game in the country since 2019. Wembley Stadium, LondonWeek 4: Falcons vs. JaguarsThe Jaguars have hosted a game in London each season since 2013, with the exception of 2020 when no international games were played. They will be back again this season, playing at Wembley Stadium as they enter the season with some of their highest expectations in recent memory. Jacksonville is 4-5 all-time in London and suffered one of its most disappointing losses overseas last season, when Russell Wilson and the Broncos got the better of Trevor Lawrence. This season's matchup should come with much more fanfare with the Jaguars favored to win the AFC South. The Jaguars will be facing off against the Falcons, who have played in England only twice. The NFL first played at the venue in 2019, when the Raiders and Buccaneers hosted back-to-back games, and the league returned for two games in both 2021 and 2022.The Jaguars are going to be spending back-to-back trips to London. They will host the Falcons at Wembley Stadium in Week 4 before coming back to play against the Bills at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in Week 5. Tennessee will be hosting the Ravens at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The Buccaneers and Seahawks played in Munich last season, but both NFL Germany games are set to be played at Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt this year.Patrick Mahomes will play his first-ever game in Europe as the Chiefs host Tua Tagovailoa and the Dolphins, while the Patriots will play their first game in Europe since 2012 as they head overseas to face the Colts.Mahomes' only international game to this point was a 2019 matchup in Mexico, but the two-time Super Bowl champion has turned into a global star and should be a big draw in Germany. The Dolphins have played four games in London, with a 1-3 record in those games.New England is undefeated in international games, having gone 2-0 in London with wins in 2009 and 2012. It also won in Mexico City back in 2017 against the Raiders. The Colts have played just one international game, losing to the Jaguars 30-27 in 2016.
